Nintendo's North American summit doesn't technically begin until tomorrow, February 24th, but they've already told Australian gamers that they can expect two of the company's heavy-hitting 2010 titles to arrive sooner than expected..

We still have a few short hours before Nintendo's North American summit begins, but apparently Australia has already been given the lowdown on what's coming in 2010 from Nintendo. Kotaku Australia reports that Nintendo has admitted that two of their biggest 2010 titles, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M will be arrived mid-year. As release dates go, an obscure "mid-year" release doesn't give much information to gamers eagerly awaiting these titles, but mid-year is better than "late this year" or even worse, simply "winter." We'll know more about Nintendo's 2010 plans when we hit the Nintendo Summit early tomorrow morning, February 24th, so be sure to check back to then for up-to-the-minute coverage on all things Nintendo.
