Do you think GOW3 will be the best in the series?

I would like to hear assumptions. I think not. I think GOW2 is the best.

It may, most reviewers say it has incredible pacing, some of the best in videogames. On the other hand, it's more of the same.

Yeah but the story is pretty rocky and the ending is disappointing. I hope not, if the ending is not good the game will mean nothing to me.

Depends on the ending and boss battles.

Its hard to tell w/out playing it, but the PSP version is my favorite.

Hard to say until I play it. Some reveiwers said GoW III is the best, but others said GoW II is better.

I don't really worry about story to much when I play GOW... just sayin. It's cool, but the gameplay is the big draw for me.

This is something I didn't get to talk about at length but the boss battles are terrific in God of War III. The ending is mediocre but from a pure technical standpoint, God of War III is the best one of the three.

But in terms of overall excellence? I might give the nod to God of War II simply because it executed on all aspects. But there was a lot of fluff that didn't need to be there in II. God of War III is almost pure action, butter smooth and tasty.

So I guess God of War III is the best but God of War II's story and ending are better.

It's still worth playing though, and it's definitely a terrific action experience.
